IBMS worked in conjunction with G4S on a BSF Wave Two project which comprised remodelling and major rebuild of the campus to create a school for the future.
Rushey Mead School is a 1,500 pupil secondary school that specialises in Sports, Maths and Science and is located to the north of the Leicester city centre. The original school was a disjointed collection of buildings of various ages and states of repair.
The new design provides a campus solution that is linked by a series of covered spaces that both connect the new Sports and Teaching Blocks and create external teaching areas.
The TREND BEMS utilises the school’s IT network to link all of the services and gives FM provider G4S a remote management facility.
