Three new Secondary Schools constructed in the first phase of Derbyshire’s Building Schools for the Future programme all benefit from Trend Building Energy Management
Systems.
All Classrooms have natural ventilation with actuated windows, to maintain air quality. The WindowMaster system is integrated with the BEMS through BACnet open‐protocol communications. This allows the under‐floor heating control to be co‐ordinated with the ventilation and prevent simultaneous heating and cooling.
Each schools BEMS communicates over the site’s IT network and is remotely monitored over the internet.
